I try to understand the Consent settings under Customer Match:
It seems I can set between granted, denied, and unspecified.
But what does this actually mean? How does it work? To me it seems, it sets it globally for all customers.
Or am I missing something?
The WooCommerce Section on https://stape.io/blog/customer-list-google-ads does not clarify this either.

Yes, that’s correct. The consent setting is global, not per customer. Whatever option you select (granted, denied, or unspecified) will be applied to every customer included in the Customer Match upload.
At the moment, the plugin doesn’t read or determine each user’s actual consent status. Instead, it simply sends the selected value as the adUserData and adPersonalization consent signal for the entire upload.
So you’re not missing anything—there’s currently no per-customer consent setting or consent status available in WordPress. The dropdown applies the same consent value to all uploaded contacts.
