Very long loading time for Stape.io request

Hi,

I hope someone can help me out. We have a server side setup, but the stape.io request is sometimes taking a very long time to load.

In the picture below you can see 41,7s load time.

My webdeveloper says that this happens multiple times a month.

Can someone explain if this is normal or not?

Thanks!

Hi,
We will definitely look into this issue and get back to you.

thank you in advance

We’ve checked, and we haven’t been able to reproduce this issue on our end. As far as we can tell, this appears to be a fairly unique case. If the issue occurs again, please contact our support team immediately so they can investigate it right away.

Hi, @Roman_Kaliniichuk

For a while, I kept a log of downtime using a downtime monitor that checks every minute.

Here’s the report—is this acceptable/normal?

Hi,
Based on the information you’ve provided, this doesn’t appear to indicate a general issue with the server-side setup. If there were a platform-wide outage or a persistent problem with the Stape endpoint, we would expect to see a much larger number of affected requests across all users.
Since this seems to occur only for specific users and at isolated points in time, it’s more likely related to temporary network conditions, routing, DNS resolution, or connectivity between the user’s browser (or monitoring service) and the endpoint.

The downtime log also shows that these interruptions are very brief , which is consistent with temporary connectivity issues rather than a sustained service outage.
If this were a server-side performance issue, we would expect to see the same behavior affecting all visitors. Since the issue appears to be isolated to a small number of requests, it is unlikely to be caused by the server-side configuration itself.

You can turn off the “Custom Louder” feature for a few days and test how it works without it to rule out this possibility as a potential cause.
