just reading over the new events in the shopify app (https://help.stape.io/hc/en-us/articles/13693436542877-Shopify-App-dataLayer)
I was wondering if the data client has been updated to parse these values automatically (like View Content/etc etc), or do I need map them on the server Tag?
Chris it’s the same DL you had before, we made it a point to be backward compatible, so you don’t need to take any additional action.

I have previously been setting up shopify scripts (with fetch) > serverGTM.
Much prefer this option
