Why the Page Location is showing like this? It contains unwanted Sandbox characters with the real page location in GA4.

How can we see the engagement time and source/medium properly in GA4 for sandbox events?

Hi,

Why the Page Location is showing like this? It contains unwanted Sandbox characters with the real page location in GA4.

This is due to the way custom events work in the Shopify Pixel API. In fact all the code runs in a separate sandbox, because of this the url is different.

How can we see the engagement time and source/medium properly in GA4 for sandbox events?

The user’s session in the sandbox remains original, so source/medium sandbox events will match the one the user started the session with.
