This is extremely frustrating

I’m so fed up trying to get Stape to work on my Shopify Store.

  • I’ve followed every Stape installation guide perfectly
  • I was still getting duplicate events and hired a consultant to fix it
  • I’m STILL getting duplicate events so I disconnected Shopify’s Facebook and Meta app
  • Now Stape doesn’t work at all

This whole process is so frustrating and managing Stape has become a nightmare. I’m paying more for the subscription and trying to get it set up correctly that it’s worth.

Is there a SINGLE SOURCE OF TRUTH for how to setup Stape properly from the beginning. I want to uninstall everything and start completely fresh.

Hi,
You can always contact Stape and submit a setup request. The Stape team will configure everything for you in the best possible way, provide full support, and explain how everything works, including what you need to do when adding new features in the future.

You can submit a setup request using the following link:

If you prefer to set everything up yourself, you can use the various tools available on the Stape website, such as the Setup Assistant and other helpful resources.

Yes and that costs thousands of dollars. Onboarding service should come free when you sign up. We shouldn’t have to pay extra to get the product to work correctly.

Hi,

The product itself works properly and as intended. However, the setup process can be quite specific and depends heavily on each client’s requirements.

If you’re using a standard configuration and don’t have any unusual requirements, you can take advantage of the Setup Assistant and the extensive documentation available. Many users successfully configure their tracking systems on their own using these resources.

If you encounter any difficulties, the Stape team is always happy to help. However, this is indeed a paid service, as it allows you to delegate a significant amount of work to our team, including proper configuration, technical support, attention to implementation details, ongoing maintenance, and guidance on how the setup works and how to extend it in the future.

As you correctly noted, this is a paid service, although the cost depends on the scope and complexity of the tasks involved rather than a fixed fee.

In short, you have two options: you can configure everything yourself using the many resources available, or you can leverage the expertise of a team that works with these types of setups every day.
