Hi, so we have implemented the shopify app and pushed the datalayer, setup custom domain, custom loader + cookie keeper etc. Everything is working correctly, but just not when are entering the checkout flow of the website.
You can see on the screenshot that the stape begin checkout event is not there.
Anyone can help ?
Judging by the fact that you seem to have GTM loading on the checkout page in the top window you don’t seem to be using extensibility yet and you are still using checkout.liquid?
If so, that’s probably the problem.
But also, for checkout pages data layer and GTM work in sandbox, so you need to check dataLayer in the window called ‘web-pixel-sandbox-CUSTOM…’.
Note that there will be as many web-pixel-sandbox windows as you have records in customer events in Shopify. So to find the right one, you just need to select each one and try call ‘dataLayer’ in it.
