Shopify Checkout Issues - Data Client fires but the GA4 Client doesn't

I’m having an issue with Shopify once we hit the sandboxed checkout. The datalayer is firing but only the data tags are firing. The GA4 tags stop firing once we hit the sandbox so from that point in the server debug mode I only see calls to the data endpoint and I stop seeing calls to the call to collect. What could be going on here?
