When is this cookie being set? Reason i am asking is that we are using custom loader, but i cannot find this cookie anywhere. I have tried using the enricher too but still couldnt see this cookie being set.

The _sbp cookie is the master cookie used by the Cookie Keeper power-up. It is set if you are using our plugin or app on platforms such as WordPress, Magento and others, provided that the GTM is loaded via a Сustom Loader for the app/plugin and Cookie Keeper is activated.
So if we arent using a plugin or app the cookie will not be set ever?
We are using custom loader, but have the “Other platform” so we are installing directly on site.
Correct._sbp will not be set automatically if you are not using a Stape plugin or app
If you manually add the custom loader code to your website and use Cookie Keeper, you’ll need to manually select the “User identifier type” based on which cookies will be restored.

Ah thanks! I think we are using Stape ID as the identifier, so that would be why.
Which do you recon would get the most accurate tracking?

Thanks so much for your help! Just out of curiosity, if i choose cookie and the cookie gets deleted by user, does it then get reinstated the same by the server container? Or will that be a new value?

If a user deletes the master cookie, it will receive a new value—it cannot be restored to its previous value.
When the master cookie is deleted, the browser sends no identifier to the server on the next request. The server detects a visit with no existing identifier, generates a new unique master cookie value, and starts a new tracking session.
