Same subdomain for GTM server-side and Facebook CAPI

Hi,

I wonder whether it is possible to use the same subdomain for Facebook CAPI and GTM Server-side. And if yes it is possible, what may be the down-sides of that?

Hi Ihsan,

We do not recommend doing this.
These are different products that require different DNS records for subdomen verification.
Also, we do not recommend setting up the Meta conversion API events in sGTM and CAPI Gateway in parallel if you plan to.
This may cause over reporting of server events or a conflict in the operation of CAPI Gateway.
