Parameters removed for Google Ads Offline Conversion Tag?

Hi there, I see the Google Ads Offline Conversion Tag has been updated recently (one month ago). And these parameters were removed from the Tag: Client ID, Client Secret & API Refresh Token.

Why are these parameters no longer needed when authenticating in Google? I am talking about the setup were this option is marked: “Own Google Credentials”.

Yes, the tag has been updated to simplify authorisation handling. If you are using Stape - you just need to authorise via connection in your container on Stape:

For own Google Cred option, there has also been an update to the new version of Google authorisation. Now you only need a Developer Token, but you still need a service account on GCP.

Can the Service Account on GCP be associated with a different email than the one used for Google Ads? (and still works)
