GA4 not visible in reports, but data is arriving in GA4

Hi everyone!
I’m working on a GA4 server-side implementation using GTM Server-Side hosted on Stape.io.

Everything seems to be working fine:
:white_check_mark: Data is correctly arriving in Google Analytics 4
:white_check_mark: Meta/Facebook events are also being tracked properly
:cross_mark: However, in the Stape dashboard, GA4 doesn’t show up among the active or logged tags.

My questions:

  • Is it normal that GA4 traffic doesn’t appear in Stape’s request logs?
  • Is there an extra setting needed to have GA4 show up in their reporting?

Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Or is there something I might have missed in the server-side tag configuration?

Happy to hear any suggestions or insights!

Request/Response Logs are only available via a setting in the tags themselves, therefore it is only possible with Tag/Variable templates developed and maintained by Stape.

Since GA4 is a proprietary Google tag w/o any access to template code - we can not effectively collect requests/response for GA4.

Hi @Dan

I managed to solve the problem.

Now I can see the data flow better, and Stape even recognizes it.
Only on the client side for now.
