Fbp and fbc not created on first visit, sort of

I have this weird issue where the fbp and fbc is not showing in the pixel helper when I pass them as parameters, however they are showing inside GTM…

Can somebody who’s willing to take a look at this, tell me what is wrong here (if anythign)…

It is not recommended to send fbp, fbc, you can avoid it from your client site no problem

@shakilahmedsamim what do you mean it’s not recommended to send fbp and fbc? How can then facebook attribute the sale back to an ad without that?

it will auto-capture from client site

@shakilahmedsamim that I read and know, however I tested this and saw that there were instances where it didn’t capture. Has this ever occured to you?

No didn’t face it yet. I think it can be only for Shopify

If you see in your logs that fbp and fbc are sent together with events - then it is definitely UI problems in Meta. This happens quite often, especially after the Events Manager interfaces were updated. Many metrics on some datasets may not be displayed correctly. In my practice it usually goes away after some time, sometimes just at the next update of data in events manager (fully updated every ~48 hours).

@Alex yeah I get your point. so in essence if the log says it sending, or better yet the graph says it’s sending then that’s that, no need to do it manually just let it flow as is

Yes, you need to rely on logs and your actual checks, as Meta interfaces love to glitch and are hard to trust.
