Facebook Test Events Tool - No deduplication, event with correct id

It has been a little hit and miss, with deduplication, this morning it was showing up in the tools about 50% of the time. However now i can’t seem to get it to show it has deduplicated the events. The event names are the same, and the event ID is also the same on both the browser and server. You can see the data here, however it’s not showing up as being deduplicated. I can’t see data in the specific event under the deduplication tab since this event has just been setup.

As you can see in the image, everything should be correct with event name and event id.

Meta interface bugs out 50% of the time… its really bad.

But if your event id matches from the client to server i would say everything is fine.

So if the “add to cart” event for instance on client side has the same id as add to cart event on serverside, you should be good.

I can also confirm that this is a fairly typical Meta test tool bug. If name and event id are the same - deduplication will work without problems.
