Exclude some events to Server

Hi, i’ve configured Tag Manager Server Side for GA4, now i’m trying to exlude some events to be send by server and send them client side. It’s that possible?

I would highly recommend not to do this - as server and web tracking use different cookies. So if you send e.g. page_view via server, but view_item via web - GA4 will count these events as two separate users in two separate sessions, which will cause a mess in your GA4.

Thanks for you reply, i was thinking to set client side events like Core Web Vitals and scroll event only. What i don’t know is how can i do that :slight_smile:

@Performya you can’t because those are auto-collected and will use the overarching config, hence will pick-up on the server_container_url parameter
