Duplicate facebook ads initiatecheckout and purchase events

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with duplicate “Begin Checkout” and “Purchase” events in Facebook Ads. I’m using Magento 1, and the current checkout process is external to the site. This problem started after activating the external checkout on the 1st of this month. Before this change, everything was working fine.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Your events are sent by the plugin, which means you probably have vert little control over what triggers them. I suggest reaching out to plugin support/community.
