Delaying Stape Events (via Data Client) Until Consent is received?

Hey,

Is there a way (or a document) that shows how to delay an event until consent is received (for the data clinet)?

Using Google Consent mode v2.

hey @Chris_Bradley Even if you did delay an event, it would only have it’s own Event Data and therefore it’s own consent decisions.

please elaborate on what you’re trying to achieve here

I kind of worked around this issue. but consent via iubunai isn’t loaded until after the stape event. So I was worried that the event would not fire as consent had not yet been applied to the page.

Yup, actually two things:

  1. Trigger Groups (previously provided consent)
  2. Custom Tag to check the consent status from cookie val
