Deduplicate events

Hi guys,
i’ve followed this guide from Stape’s team (attached below) step by step

to deduplicate events, but it seems that there’s some problem in passing event_id by the client, so deduplication doesn’t work properly.

Anyone faced the same issue?

Maybe do i have to create a custom dimension in GA4?

Hi,

It looks like the problem is that you did not add the Unique event id variable to the browser event. Point 4 of the guide.
