Hi everyone,
I’ve research about how to workaround with Meta Restriction on Health & Wellness and seems like we can create custom event using a different event name with sGTM & CAPI to fix it.
But when i tried to do it, the custom event display in Event Manager is recording for browser correctly but not appear with Server signal. I have tried many ways and being so frustrated right now? So can anyone help me on that. To the final objective is I can run my lower-funnel event back.
Right now i’ve been restricted by meta and purchase standard event is not fire anymore. When i change my optimization goal to custom event. Its seem the traffic and CPM are bots and quite garbage there. Anyone experience the same can help me out?
Any guidance, screenshots, or best practices would be greatly appreciated

In this screenshot you’re using the Data Tag to send the event to the sGTM container, and the name of the event is “Haha”.
Now, in the sGTM container and based on your screenshot, you’re triggering the FB tag in the “Purchase” event. But the event you’re sending to the sGTM container is “Haha”. Therefore, you must create a new trigger using the “Haha” event name and attach it to the tag.
I’ve done a couple of setups for Health & Wellness vertical. From what I’ve noticed is that for this to work:
You’ll need to setup Anonymiser power-up
You’ll need to ensure your custom event names are as nondescript as possible. For example: for a lead collection vertical, if you send event name like “generate lead” or “lead” Meta will block it, however if it’s a generic name that doesn’t indicate PII was collected, then it usually goes through.
