Custom Event does not get duplicated

Hi

I set up CAPI recently. The View Content and Page View work just fine. Then I created a custom event. The issue I have is, that it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn’t.

I set it up via the GA4 Configuration Tag. I added “send page view when this configuration loads, send to server container (custom subdomain)” and the following fields “event_id”, “first_party_collection (true), fbp and fbc”.

Did I miss something?

Hi Stefan,

Facebook test tool is often glitchy. If you see that your event name and event id are the same - these events will be deduplicated.
You can publish these changes and see how it works.
