Changing Stape CDN to Own CDN questions

I’m aware of this article.

But these points are not clear to me at the moment.

  • I have to delete my current domain settings to proceed, change to Stape CDN to Own CDN? My GTM-SS will be down for a while, right?

  • In the Own CDN settings article I didn’t see any quotes to load.stape domain, for the use of the add-on Custom Loader, what I should to do to keep using this functionality?

If you want to change the CDN settings in your container on Stape, you need to delete your custom domain from it and add it again and select the desired settings.

Stape Global CDN and Own CDN perform different functions and cannot be used together.

With the Own CDN feature, you can route sGTM custom domain and proxy sGTM traffic through the DNS provider of your website. In this case, the IP addresses of your website and the custom domain of the sGTM will match, and server-side cookies will be considered as first-party.

The Stape Global CDN feature uses the Cloudflare platform to load js files (gtm.js, gtag.js, analytics.js, etc.) from a server that is in closer proximity to your site visitors, resulting in faster js file serving.

You can use a custom loader regardless of the CDN settings. After making the changes, generate a new code in the power-up and replace the existing one on your website.
