consent mode in Europe

 Hey,

I’m searching for someone who is familiar with consent mode in Europe and who is able to explain some issue regarding a difference in conversions of the primary conversion event- import from GA4 - and a tag we setup as secondary conversion event. Those are not measuring the same amount of conversions currently. This seems to be related to consent mode.

Do you think we can go true the accounts to getter and that you’ll be able to explain this to me?

For the context, the primary tag is working fine. We have a secondary tag which we need to send a different conversion value back to Google Ads. The secondary pixel however does not measure the same amount of conversions. The question now is how can set this second pixel up, so that it measures the some amount.

If you have both conversions running on the same triggers and in the same conditions, it is unlikely that it has anything to do with consent as then it would affect both conversions.
Unless one of the conversions ignores the consent state.

How ga4 purchase event data import google ads?

this has nothing to do with consent (assuming your consent for ga4 and that conversion tag are setup properly). You will always see different results from a direct reporting compared to import from GA4, here’s a good overview Google Ads vs Google Analytics 4 Conversions: Which to Use?
